Sun, snow and colour: the Dolomites fascinate their visitors, with their imposing snowy landscapes, and in Corvara you will receive a warm and cheerful welcome. Corvara is one of the most beautiful and well-known resorts in the Alta Badia, in the tourist and sporting heart of the Alto Adige. It is set in a sunny basin, at an altitude of 1,550 m, and is surrounded by high rocky walls of outstanding beauty, enchanting conifer woods and vast snowy meadows. The colour of the dolomite stone changes at different times of day and in different seasons, reflecting the sunlight. One moment you see tones of grey, the next pale ochre and finally, at sunset, deep pink and violet. This amazing majestic natural phenomenon has given rise to many legends, which still fascinate people today. The town, that takes care to maintain the tradition of the Ladin culture, is lively and hospitable, and there are many exclusive local amusements, entertaining events and elegant shops. Corvara is surrounded by imposing mountains of majestic beauty: the Sella Massif, Sasso Croce, Conturines.

In the center of a truly unique ski area

Corvara is at the gateway of the prestigious Dolomites-Superski area. It offers 130 km of pistes, suitable for all levels, of which 55 km are equipped with artificial snowmaking machines, to guarantee perfect pistes all the time. Across the valley and in the snowy woods there are 40 km of pistes for cross-country skiing. You can also enjoy tobogganing on a natural track, off-piste skiing, ski mountaineering, telemark skiing, carving and heli-skiing.
Corvara is the ideal starting point of the Sella Ronda - the ski tour that goes round the Sella Massif. This ski tour is designed so you never have to repeat a trail, as you travel around a circuit of interconnected trails and lifts. A unique occasion to sample the winter atmosphere in the Dolomites, with a change of scenery on every descent.

There are five ski schools and for the smallest a ski kindergarten (from 3 years of age) with expert instructors.
